In the world of bloggers, I am still a relative newbie but if anyone knows me they know that whatever I decide to do, I strive to be one of the very best. I enjoy blogging and I am doing it to interact with the online community and to have some fun. I am not trying to pay the light bill with my efforts here.
My Integrity
Because I am not paying the bills with this blog, I promise that I will never become one of the typical “make money online” blogs that feature nothing but Sponsored Reviews, Pay Per Post or Affiliate links. I despise these SPAM blogs that offer nothing for the reader and serve only to try and make money from them.
Any affiliate links that I use in a post will be for products that I actually own and have actually used and actually think has something to offer to you. The ultimate choice is yours but you can feel good that if I recommend it, then I like it.
My Blog isn’t intended to be the primary way I make money online, but rather kind of a score card and sounding board to communicate with the online world. I am a firm believer that you will be far more successful providing value and networking with people than you ever could working on your own.
I am always open to joint ventures, guest posts or even just some good old fashioned discussion in the comment section.
How I Make Money
My method of choice to make money online is content websites, affiliate marketing and Ebay affiliate stores. My niche site empire is still in the growth phase but I currently have 9 BANS websites, 3 Adsense sites, 1 Affiliate portal and 1 Ebay store.
My current monthly profit from online activity is approximately 2000 dollars per month. This is not bad but many of my sites are new and have yet to start producing a really strong income. As they age and gain links and ranking in the SERPs then this number should grow steadily.
I am very confident that I could do even better than this but I have a fairly demanding day job that I love. I may consider becoming a full time internet presence in the future but right now I enjoy what I do during the day too much.
I am one of the lucky few that loves his job.
My Mission
I have a number of goals with this blog but the primary goal is to entertain and serve the readership. If I can accomplish that then monetizing it will be easy. My goal is to develop into an authority blog by the end of 2008 with a readership of at least 1000 RSS subscribers, PR of 5 or higher and traffic in the 1000 plus a day range.
If I can accomplish this then I think I should easily be able to make a couple thousand dollars a month solely from this blog but my real goal is to make 5-10k a month from my online activity as it would take the high end of that for me to realistically consider leaving my day job.
Who am I?
Well I can tell you one thing, I am a guy that isn’t going to write his About Me page in the 3rd person….what is it with bloggers who write about themselves that way? Do they think it sounds professional? More corporate?

Joe, I’ve got news for you, don’t write your damn About Me page in the 3rd person, it’s creepy. You wrote it, so refer to yourself as “I” not “Joe.”
As for me, I have been quite successful in my offline career and I currently hold a Director position for a Fortune 400 company. My team generates approximately 300 million dollars in revenue annually and I have 5 Area managers that report directly to me with approximately 70 salespeople that answer to them.
What does that mean?
Well to you probably nothing, but to me it’s been my life’s work. I include it here only to share some “creds” if you will. It really doesn’t mean anything though if I don’t bring value to your visit. That’s what all of these blogs are about…the ones that provide value earn the business. They earn the readers, the traffic and maybe even the income that follows.
