This really hits home. Great post. Sometimes it shouldn't be about YOU. That's very hard in this industry.

I gotta admit, being the Personal Finance realm I've thought the same thing; hey, we like money, can you blame us? :) But yes, I still will stumble the folks posts still and have realized that StumbleUpon shouldn't be used as a marketing tool as much as an entertainment tool. It doesn't cater to thumbing up same content so much;

I've been RSS'd to you for a while, and this one caught my attention, thumbs up! :)

hank's last blog post..Another new StumbleUpon tip; who is thumbing up or down your pages?

Friendship is the key of success in blogging.If you don't have strong friendship with your readers -there is no meaning of blogging.

@Tamera - Yep it's a two way street no doubt. I started over with a new profile so I am rebuilding my friends.

Here I am if you want to add me....I will do the same. I love using SU....it takes a while to fine tune it to the content that you like and to get the right friends list but I still like it.

Here's my profile.

Heh. I wrote about this a couple of weeks ago, but not as a whole post. People shouldn't get their feathers ruffled about the topic. It is the truth. However, I also wrote a post about the narcissistic tendencies of a lot of bloggers. That one I did delete and did not publish, because that word tends to ruffle others. Even if it's the truth. You know how I feel about things and systems flowing, Bill. These types of attitudes stops processes up. It's an attitude of unnecessary "non-abundance". I tried to look you up on Stumble once, but couldn't find you. I am an avid, pro-active user of the "what's new" section of my stumbleupon, where you can read what friends have stumbled (aside of stumbling outside articles myself). It's not that easy finding other pro-active users. They want their own stuff stumbled, but they sit on the top of their mountain-top wanting to be admired, and miss the whole point of the systems. OK. That was my two irritated cents.

Tamera's last blog post..Personal Development- Mindful Matters
