I've done some research about this strategy and will try this out in the future. I think, most important part is to produce timeless content. Such as self motivation, inspiration or sth similar.

You also have a stable foundation with you what you do , this can and will go along way for anyone if they as you say "put in the hard yards"

Thanks again,
Take care

@John - Good question but static websites are much different than blogs in that your traffic isn't recreational traffic. You rely on search engines to bring the customers, not fresh content.

It's also a common misconception that you need fresh content to rank well.....what you really need are links. Links are the answer in the current Google algorithm so as long as you have a decent amount of content then what you really need to continuously do is build links. That's easy.

Also you can get content written for you on Digital Point for almost nothing. I have some guy in India writing for me now that produces 500 word articles for 5 dollars. They are really pretty good, he is a decent writer and they always pass Copyscape.

It's a LOT of work on the front end and we'll see how passsive it is on the backend but my best niche right now is a site that I put up about 2 years ago. I hardly touch the thing and it produces well.

thats a good read, but I have to ask you - how on earth are you suppose to keep content fresh on 100+ sites, when there is hardly any time to dig into a single blog??

It doesnt mean much to me, to have 100+ sites and just leave it there, because some one else will come along and push that site down in the ranks by using a more competitive keyword, so while your hard out buildig more site, how many others previsouly built sites slips with out notice??

I can see you point, but to keep an eye on the previouly built sites is way to much work.
there are hundreds fo blog making money, mine is one of them, putting time into blogs or any other site takes time regardless.

the one thing I dont claim is that I'm a pro at blogging - nor would I ever tell anyone that they should do it my way because I made $4200 dollars in 2.5 weeks last month.

This is something I see all the time, if we listened to the so called experts then all the blogs out there would be the same.

You have a neat idea and I have seen this type of thing making its way into my inbox, as always it all comes at a cost. no thanks,!! the only ppl I see getting rich are the very ones telling us what we should do.

Keep up the good work dude,

all the best for future business

An absolutely brilliant post! You're definitely speaking the blogging gospel and a hard reality that some do not want to grasp. There are so many with unreasonable expectations.

Great list too.

Thanks!

That was some good info. I think everybody should know what they are getting themselves into and set up realistic expectations. Then it's just a matter of sticking to it.
