BookMarking Demon – Link Building Automation
If you follow blog posts around the blogosphere it is abundantly clear that people don’t quite understand the basic fundamentals of SEO. The concepts of building links and anchor text are lost on most bloggers.
Links Wasted
If they build links at all then they usually use other blogs to do it and they use their name for anchor text. This is a sure recipe to rank for your OWN name but why? Sure the links have some value to get google to crawl your site and maybe even a bit of link juice but there is a much better way to approach it.
I am not going to do a full write up on link building today but I do have an article series that I am working on that will get into detail on what I do for my niche sites. I just wanted to let everyone know what I was up to regarding Project DIY and my other niche sites.
My niche sites have started taking up a significant amount of my time the last few weeks due to the Ebay Partner Network changeover and some basic maintenance in general. These things are producing so I have to spend the time on them to keep them functioning.
I love to blog but the niche sites are passive income once you have them set up and rolling.
Semi-Automated Link Building
I don’t put all that much effort into link building for my blog simply because drawing organic traffic really isn’t a big part of the plan for this blog. If it comes then great, if it doesn’t then that’s fine too. I’ll be soldiering on either way.
As I grow my small dotcom empire of niche sites I have developed the need for a better method of building backlinks. It is far too time consuming to submit to directories and bookmarking sites by hand, I just can’t do it and still have time to work on my sites.
That led me to a product called BookMarking Demon. This LOOKS to be a really cool tool and I hope that it works as well as I have been led to believe. I won’t offer any opinion or advice on it just yet other than to say watch for a review in the very near future as to how effective it works.
I, of course, am going to use it to complete a link building campaign for Project DIY Niche Site. I have 5 BANS stores I am developing right now so the need for a better link building campaign has become abundantly clear.
I am not opposed in the slightest to invest in tools that will make me more productive so I bought BookMarking Demon tonight. We’ll see how it works in the next week or so, it will take a while to build a decent amount of backlinks as you don’t want to acquire them too quickly.
Conclusion
I am not trying to write a link building article and quite frankly if I do, it will be one of 20k of them that were written this month alone. If you read most of them they will all be the same post anyway, just rewritten a little bit so it isn’t a blatant copy.
When I write mine I will definitely try to mix it up and show you a FAR better way by using BookMarking Demon, but only if it passes my test. I won’t recommend it if it doesn’t work and I can’t show you that it works fact based.
If you are trying to build links for a blog, then I would keep doing it manually, but if you are trying to build an empire then you will need help, otherwise you will get killed in the SERPS by guys that DO use tools like these.
If you’re a niche site builder then I’d love to hear your own experience with this tool or what YOU use to build backlinks.

You just got, don’t know anything about it, you’re going to write a review later and you won’t recommend it unless it passes your test. But you’ve got your affiliate link all over it and wouldn’t mind if people bought it from this post, but you’re not recommending it yet, but buy it here.
Why put up a post if you’re not reviewing it? Why put an affiliate link in it if you’re only going to recommend it if if passes your test? Why not wait till it passes your test, recommend it, then put your affiliate link in it?
Don’ bother replying, I won’t be back. Just another scammer.
See why birth control is a great idea…..
A scammer would write a fake review, pretend it’s great without ever using it. The fact that I have to explain that to you has made my day. Everyone needs comedy from time to time so I have to say thank you.
I am being honest, if someone chooses to still buy it then great, my gain. If not then I will post my review in due time.
This isn’t hard…at least to most people.
Hey this is a great resourceful tool to use with niche marketing websites and I really think I will be using it in the near future! Thanks a lot for sharing!
KG Lews last blog post..Issue 53 : Fight Laziness to Maximize Productivity!
I agree with you that we can’t rush to get top rank in SEO,but for me i will work for it consistently,in fact we can’t rush to increase our blog’s back link.
2 things i focus on my blog:
1)Contents
2)Traffics
Back links won’t be my priority although it is essential to get top rank.
@Felex – I agree…for a blog the best way to build links is to write good content. If you do then the links will happen automatically.
For a niche site it’s a much different story. I don’t think I would bother with something like this software for a blog.
Love this blog, but I have to agree a bit with Joe. I have been coming to your website because I felt you reviewed such items in an unbiased way, without trying to gain much on the affiliate side (although there are often affiliate links). A post like this does give the feeling of a bit of lost credibility, though minimal. Let’s say you post an intro article like above, and people have clicked through you already and you made money BEFORE the review, just on this intro post. Are we supposed to believe you would write an unbiased review, possibly knocking the product, when you could easily give a positive review to a proven money maker for you and make more money?
Obviously, nobody will be surprised now if you post a positive review of this product; nor should anyone believe it.
Again, I am a loyal reader, but posts like don’t give a forthright image. Flame if you would like (like you did Joe), but as a marketer I hope you can appreciate the candid opinions of your readers. Cheers.
@Jake – I have to tell you that I just don’t understand you and Joe’s point of view. I simply posted that I bought the software and that I am going to be trying it out.
I am not going to defend myself because quite frankly I don’t need to. I have always called a spade a spade and I always will. I can look any person in the eye and tell you all day long that whether I make a commission on BD based of that Intro post I will still tell you exactly what I think about the product.
Exactly, nothing more and nothing less.
If I were trying to scam someone as Joe suggested…(which tripped my trigger) then I am pretty confident that a “scammer” wouldn’t admit that they hadn’t used the software yet, would make up a great story about how awesome it is etc. You see it every day on every pretender blog on the net.
The fact that I am NOT a scammer means I posted what I posted and will do an update once i am done trying it out and only once I am done trying it. If I like it then I like it, if I don’t I will say so.
btw….”Joe” has been back a few times since he posted that he wouldn’t be back.
I am sorry that I “flamed” him but when someone who doesn’t know me calls me a scammer then that flicks my Bic…especially if you saw “Joe’s” site.
