Anyone who is kind enough to listen to my ramblings will know that I am a big fan of networking and I blog about it often. In a recent article on the subject, I discussed finding bloggers who are similar in stature and size to yourself as opposed to getting in line to kiss A-lister butt.
I have no doubt that this will be much more effective in the long run. If you like to pucker then feel free.
The opportunity presented itself to sponsor a contest that would allow me to partner with another B-Lister. I have been reading jay’s blog at for a while as we started out at approximately the same time and have both been progressing along nicely. I like his writing style and he seems like a pretty decent guy.
Contest
He approached me to sponsor his contest a few weeks ago and I happily agreed. Although Mark from 45n5 has a seething and unhealthy hatred (kidding Mark and get an archive section already) for blog contests, I don’t, at least not yet.
That almost changed with that “last contest” that just wouldn’t seem to die, but for now I am straight. Jay assured me that his contest wouldn’t even be the slightest bit annoying, so I agreed to sign on. It isn’t like I discovered the atom here or anything, it’s a Win/Win for both of us so it’s really a no brainer.
