Unless you’ve been living under a rock then you know that selling links was a major source of income for blogs until somewhat recently. The Big G (aka Google) decided they didn’t like this practice. The selling of pagerank conflicted with the very spirit of why the pagerank system was invented and they weren’t going to stand for it.
The infamous pagerank slaps that you have no doubt read about, targeted sites who were engaging in the practice of selling text links. Entire sites became de-indexed overnight and affected their income substantially in many cases and the practice of selling text links was driven underground almost immediately.
A new service has presented itself and is claiming a number of advantages over services of the past. I was made aware of this service a few days ago and I think many of you will have a strong interest in checking it out. I would also be interested to hear your feedback if you do check it out.
Phoenix Rising
I am here to tell you about a service that may be able to revive the glory days of text link sales and that is a company called TNX. They tout a lot of advantages over previous text link brokers that will allow you to monetize your site and they claim to be able to avoid the wrath of Google.
TNX allows publishers to sell links from each page on their website. It also allows advertisers to buy millions of links from other sites with just a few clicks. TNX will save you time, effort and money.
Site publishers can not only use TNX.net to earn money, they can also use it to promote their own websites by taking advantage of their system as an advertiser (balance in the system is unified).
If you’re already interested then check out TNX.net!
If you’re not quite ready then let’s take a deeper look.
Publishers
One of the major advantages I can see for webmasters or “publishers” is that you can sell links on every page of your site as opposed to just the main page. TNX claims that this could be up to 10 times more profitable than selling site wide links like previous brokers.
You also have the ability to retain control over what ads or links are allowed to show on their site and advertisers themselves, placing only links that are relevant to every page of their sites.
You can also rest assured that TNX takes every precaution to retain a semblance of privacy in regards to your activity. They require no files uploaded to your server nor do they display a list of their advertisers – this keeps your text link selling activity between you and your clients.
Here is the #1 most commonly asked question from the FAQ section:
How do I benefit from adding a TNX system code on my website?
Answer: When system code is placed on your website all the links that are purchased by advertisers will be automatically displayed on all pages that have TNX system code included. Whenever link on your website is sold to one of our advertisers, you get paid. The more pages you have on your site, the more links you can sell. Price of each link sold to our advertisers is calculated upon you page’s search engine rating. Links on every page of your website are sold automatically, all you need is to place the TNX system code on all pages you want to sell links from.
In case you have high ranked website that meets our requirements, we can buy the ad space on your site for a fixed price. Please contact our support team from your user panel with a link to your site and description of an advertising space.
You can see the entire FAQ section here.
Advertisers
The main advantage touted for advertisers is the very reasonably priced links that can be purchased through the system that will allow you to buy quality links for a reasonable price.
The more links you have to your sites then the higher you can rank for your keywords and the more traffic you will be able to generate through search engine traffic. You can purchase hundreds of keyword links with a couple of keystrokes and build links overnight.
TNX also offers a link shaping tool that allows you to make your links look very natural for Google so you don’t appear suspicious to the Google bot. You can read more about it at the DP link above. You can so read about some tips that allow some TNX advertisers to rank #1 in Google for their keywords.
Last but certainly not least you can read the Advertiser FAQ to answer any other questions you might have.
Limited Time Offer
If you are interested in their service then you need to act now to take advantage of a limited time offer. They are currently offering free links to those souls who are ready, able and willing to try this system. You can’t beat free and right now you can earn enough points to purchase a number of links… JUST for signing up and giving it a try!
Referral Program
As if all of this wasn’t enough then they also have an affiliate program where you can earn points for anybody that you refer to TNX that are redeemable for cash. You can check it out as soon as you sign up for the TNX program. It is free so you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
If you’re looking to build site authority with targeted inbound links from relevant sites then this service seems like it was custom tailored for you. Sign up now and see if it works for you….it seems like a service that could have some merit.
TNX.net: Sell links on every page of your site to thousands of advertisers!
Conclusion
Very few topics garner such strong partisan responses from each camp. On one side you have those who feel that paid links should be allowed and cause no harm to any search engines so why can’t they do it? They will argue that Google SPONSORS paid links with their entire ad sense program so if they can profit from selling links then why shouldn’t you? Seems like a valid question.
On the flip side you will have the staunch “do gooder” crowd who play by the rules and expect that everyone else should too. Google has made their response perfectly clear and knowing that then everyone should play by the rules. They are the kind of people who won’t go through the 15 items or less line at the supermarket if they have 16 items. Admirable or naive?
As for me, I will keep my feelings to myself on the subject as I think it would be irresponsible to push you in one direction or another. Just be aware that if you do trip the triggers of Google then your site could become de-indexed overnight.
If that’s a consequence that you can live with then the upside is big, but if it isn’t then you have some risk versus reward analysis to do.
I’d like to hear from any current users and anyone who has an opinion on the subject.

I’ve just post about TNX a few days ago. I think it’s very risky to just depend on Google alone. Terms and regulations changes everyday. It’s not just Google only, but I think any site will make changes to survive and make more money. It is better off to built your blog with many source of income so that you won’t be drag along their rules and changes.

This is a subject that really interests me as for as i a m concerned i consider what google have been doing has nothing to do with paid links affecting there serps as they keep saying but rather another way of getting us to use our money on their adwords program.
As for TNX it will work for some and not for others thought it is worth joining just to use your free credits,

@Kumo – all your eggs in one basket is definitely not a good game plan. Some bloggers have to ponder…is Google worth it? They can make a LOT of money from paid posting and selling text links…so much that maybe organic search traffic is not important to them?
@ Marketing Blog – I have to agree with you. I find it ironic that google will claiim that they are against paid links so that the search engine results don’t become polluted with spam.
The joke of it is they already are……PPC is as much spam as paid links is in my opinion.
I agree with Kumo…relying on Google alone is not the best practice. If, heaven forbid, Google somehow went down…where would you be?
